Judy M. Elias
With more than 35 years of professional accounting and financial experience, Judy Elias is a passionate advocate for her clients and their financial well-being. Judy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a BS/BA in Accounting and earned her CPA license in 1981. In 1983, she joined Strauss & Company, PC, becoming a stockholder in 1993. Remaining with the firm, she became a partner with Steve Strauss and formed Elias Strauss CPAs, LLC in 2015.
Judy, whose goal is to serve as a sounding board for her clients and to take a personal interest in their accounting needs, specializes in small business and individual tax return consultation. She maintains her professional acumen as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). In addition, she is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women and BNI St. Louis Strategic Partners, as well as being a QuickBook Pro advisor.
A lifelong St. Louisan, Judy and her husband live in West County, where they raised three sons. Her personal interests include traveling, reading, mah jong, cooking and watching movies. She is a dedicated volunteer, supporting the sisterhood of Congregation Shaare Emeth and the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW). Among her favorite volunteer services each year is NCJW’s Back to School Store, offering school supplies for disadvantaged children.
